ii. Indian crocodiles are found in lakes, rivers and marshes.Mugger crocodiles are found in almost all rivers in India. Ghariyals are found in few rivers such as Yamuna, Ganga, Kosi etc. The saltwater crocodile exists in the eastern states of Odisha, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
