Q) Explain how the condition of the workers steadily declined in the early twentieth century in Europe.

a. The condition of workers largely declined in the early 20th century as there were more workers available than the jobs.
b. There was always abundance of labour available in the market to meet the industrial needs largely due to increased migration of people.
c. Most industries compelled workers to work under harsh conditions, abysmally low wages.
d. Housing in the cities were too overcrowded, with terrible conditions.
e. Workers were employed in large number in ammunition factories to meet war time needs.
g. Gradually war also impacted condition of workers, as there was a decline in able working force.
h. Household income  thus, declined.

as by 20th century.....there were low possibilities for the people for jobs

-job seekers had to wait for a long tym.

-seasonality ofwork:after a working period ,the workers were again on the streets-wages .they get,was not enough for their family

-prices rose during napoleonic wars
