$$\begin{gathered} To Factorize : \left(i\right) (y-x)a+(x-y)b \left(ii\right) 12x^3{y}^4+16x^2{y}^5-4x^5{y}^2 \\ solution : \\ \left(i\right) (y-x)a+(x-y)b \\ =(y-x)a-(-x+y)b (taking minus commom from second term) \\ =(y-x)a-(y-x)b \\ =(y-x)(a-b) \{taking (y-x) common from both the terms\} \\ \left(ii\right) 12x^3{y}^4+16x^2{y}^5-4x^5{y}^2 \\ =4x^2{y}^2(3x{y}^2+4y^3-x^3) \{ taking 4x^2{y}^2 common from all three terms\} \end{gathered}$$
