6. Read the extract given below and answer the questions that follow:
"With a satisfied expression, he regarded the field of ripe corn with its flowers, draped in a curtain of rain. But suddenly a strong wind began to blow and along with the rain very large hailstones began to fall. These truly did resemble new silver coins. The boys, exposing themselves to the rain, ran out to collect the frozen pearls."
(a) How did Lencho feel when he saw his fields covered with the curtain of rain?
(b) What followed the rain?

(d) How did these new silver coins bring disaster to him?

a) When Lencho saw his fields covered with the curtain of rain, he felt happy and satisfied. This was because he was completely dependent on rain for the irrigation of his crops.

b)  The rain was followed by heavy wind and lot of hailstones.

c) The hailstones resembled new silver coins.

d) The new silver coins were the hailstones and they brought disaster to Lencho as they damaged his field completely. He could not get even a single corn to sell in the market.
