Q. For the given circuit shown in fig, to act as full wave rectifier :- a.c. input should be connected across ........ and ....... the d.c. output would appear across ......... and .........

Dear Student,
 To act as a full wave rectifier input must be connected across B & D and the output must be taken across A & C.
Now reason being, as we need to get a full wave rectifier it means that the cycle generated must be continuous. 
Now when the first cycle of AC will come then AB and CD will generate output as they will only have forward biased diodes.

Now when the second cycle of AC will come then AD and BC will generate output as they will only have forward biased diodes.
