speech on " Impact of Malnutrition on Society and the importance of living a healthy life".

Dear Student,

Good morning friends, today I am going to speak on malnutrition. It is a condition that develops when there’s a deficiency, excess, or imbalance in a person’s nutrient intake. It affects individuals as well as communities. It results in slow growth in society. It has permanent and irreversible consequences. It leads to slow down of physical and mental development of an individual. It is associated with high risk of diabetes, obesity and hypertension. It also results in an underdeveloped brain, poor performance in school and in turn reduced earnings. Vitamins and minerals are a necessary part of diet. Iodine, vitamin A, and iron's deficiency represents a major threat to the health and development of populations worldwide. In contrast, overweight and obesity is when a person is too heavy for his or her height. Abnormal or excessive fat accumulation can impair health. We need to work together to help such people and result in healthier world. Thank you.

Regards
