Suggest ways to reduce global warming. 15 points please

Dear students,

Following are some points through which we can reduce global warming.
  1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle- Reduce waste by choosing reusable products instead of disposables. Buy products with minimal packaging. Recycle paper, plastic, newspaper, glass and aluminium cans
  2. Use Less Heat and Air Conditioning- Add insulation to your walls and attic, it can lower your heating costs more than 25 percent, by reducing the amount of energy you need to heat and cool your home.
  3. Change your lightbulbs- Replace regular light bulbs with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. CFLs last 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs, use two-thirds less energy, and give off 70 percent less heat.
  4. Buy Energy-Efficient Products- Avoid products that come with excess packaging especially molded plastic and other packaging that can't be recycled.
  5. Drive less and drive smarter- Walk and ride your bike more and check out options for carpooling to work or school.
  6. Use Less Hot Water- Set your water heater at a lower temperature to save energy and buy low-flow shower heads to save hot water and about 350 pounds of carbon dioxide yearly.
  7. Plant Trees- A single tree will absorb approximately one ton of carbon dioxide during its lifetime.
  8. Use the "Off" Switch- Save electricity and reduce global warming by turning off lights when you leave a room, and using only as much light as you need.
  9. Keep an eye on your local beach - It’s your responsibility to look after your local spot. Keep an eye on changes, pick up litter, use your local status to increase respect for the ocean environment.
  10. Stop deforestation- More the trees, more will be the amount of oxygen. Lesser the trees lesser will be the amount of oxygen.
  11. Encourage Others to Conserve - Share information about recycling and energy conservation with your friends, neighbours and co-workers, and take opportunities to encourage public officials to establish programs and policies that are good for the environment.
  12. Where practical, we can support more local businesses that use and promote sustainable, climate-smart practices such as those listed above.
  13. Eat less meat, especially beef- Food accounts for a sizable portion of our emissions. If you want to make cuts here, your best option is to reduce your consumption of meat, especially beef.
  14. The car you drive: the most important personal climate decision- When you buy your next car, look for the one with the best fuel economy in its class. Each gallon of gas you use is responsible for 25 pounds of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere.
  15. Make your house more air tight- Even in reasonably tight homes, air leaks may account for 15 to 25 percent of the heat our furnaces generate in winter or that our homes gain in summer.
Regards.

1. Using public transport
2. Using CNG gas
3. Not polluting the air
4. Not showing plastic anywhere
4. Recycling the used papers so the trees would be saved and they produce oxygen to breathe and the Global Warming can be reduced
5. Reusing the things which we have do used previously like newspaper if we reuse news paper then many trees can be saved just like recycling
6. Planting trees
7. Not cutting trees
