the value of a residential flat constructed at the cost of 1000000 is depreciating at the rate of 10%p.a. What will be its valre after 3 years?

as we know the formula of depriciatin =

  p[1-r/100]^n

  so   1000000[1-10/100]^3
                                                            =1000000[9/10]^3
                                                                      =1000000 *  729/1000
                                                                      = Rs 729000

Value of the flat= Rs 10,00,000

It's value id depreaciating at the rate of 10% p.a.

This means, that after  year it's value will be Rs 10,00,000- (10% of Rs10,00,000)= Rs(10,00,000-100000)

Now cost of it after 3 years will be= Rs 10,00,000 - 3*(1,00,000)

=Rs 10,00,000-3,00,000

=Rs 7,00,000

Therefore, the value of the flat= 7 lakh rupees
