Three function of Consumer Protection Courts

a, Under the Consumer Protection Act 1986, a three tier judicial system has been formed.
b.This act provides for the establishment of consumer disputes redressal agencies at district, state and national level.
c. Consumer protection courts have been set up where consumers can invoke their right to redressal and right to represent.
d. It ensures that rights of the consumers like Right to be informed , to be heard, to redressal , right to consumer education are duly protected.
e. The function of the court has been to protect consumers from the fraudulent practises of the sellers
f. To ensure fairness in the dealings of the sellers towards consumers
g. To protect consumers from the harassment and exploitation.
