▪Biodegradable materials are those that decompose easily within a short period of time and dont harm the environment. Eg. Paper, vegetable peels etc. ▪Non biodegradable mtrls take a very long time to decompose sometimes 5 -10 or even 100 yrs or more. They thus harm the environment . Eg. Most common is plastic then metals like aluminium etc.
