Components of cell-
1.Animal cell consists of outer cell membrane (also cell wall in plant cell).
2.Cytoplasm a gel-like substance enclosed within the cell membrane.
3.Cytoplasm contains cell organelles such as Nucleus (contains DNA), Mitochondria, Lysosomes. Endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi comples, Vacuoles, Chloroplast (only in plant cell) etc.
Small size of cell provide high surface area to volume ratio that helps in providing large surface area for exchange of nutrients, wastes and gases etc.
