1. Wool is obtained from sheep whereas silk is obtained from silk moth.
2. Wool contains sulphur while silk does not.
3. Wool is bulkier and less compact as compared to silk.
4. The protein present in wool is keratin whereas in silk the protein present is fibroin.
5. Wool is more prone to insect damage as compared to silk.
