DILAPIDATED  MEANS -- BROKEN DOWN ,RUINED ,DECAYED

SO GRANDMOTER WAS VERY HAPPY ON ARRIVAL OF AUTHOR SO SHE SANG AND BEAT THE DILAPIDATED DRUM FOR SEVERAL HOURS..
EVERYONE PERSUADED HER TO STOP BUT SHE WAS SINGING AS IF A WARRIOR HAD CAME BACK.
THIS SHOWS HER LOVE FOR HIM.
