What happens when one minister loses the faith of the opposition due to some reason and the opposition initiates a vote of no-confidence against the government?

Dear Student,
If a no confidence motion is initiated by the opposition in the Lok Sabha, a discussion is held in the house about the same. 
After that voting is conducted.
If a majority of the members of the house vote in favour of the motion, the motion is passed and the Government is bound to vacate the office.
