Metamorphosis is the maturation of larva into an adult through a
series of drastic physical and physiological changes

Metamorphosis is a biological process of transforming a larva into
an adult This involves relatively sudden and abrupt changes in the
animal’s structure Frogs and insects are examples of
organisms showing metamorphosis
Taking an example of life cycle of a frog It has three distinct
stages:
EGG → TADPOLE → ADULT

absorption of the tail by the body
