what is phosphorylation?
Dear Student,
Phosphorylation is the process by which a phosphate group (PO4) is attached to biomolecules. The process by which ATP is synthesised in the mitochondria is known as oxidative phosphorylation while the process by which ATP is synthesised in the choloplasts during photosynthesis is known as photophosphorylation.
Hope you got the answer,
