What is the difference between an adjective and a verb???

An adjective is a word that describes a noun or a pronoun.

For example: She is intelligent.

(The word ‘intelligent’ is an adjective. It is describing the pronoun ‘she’. It is telling us of what kind the pronoun is.)

Verbs: These are the words which describe an action, event or state of being in a sentence

Examples of verbs are:

run, walk, eat, sing, dance etc.
