What is the difference between largest producer and leading producer?
If africa is the largest producer of gold and diamond why is Australia the leading producer of gold and diamond? Shouldn't africa be the lading one

The largest producer is that which produces most but the leading producer is that which produces a lot in a given time and maintain its leads as having too much resources.
If Africa is the largest producer of gold and diamond why is Australia the leading producer of gold and diamond? it is because Africa from the old time, was the largest source of gold and diamonds but in Australia many mines of gold has been found and now it is focusing more and more mining of the gold that's why Australia the leading producer of gold and diamond
