what is the difference between present indefinite and simple present tense



Dear student,

Simple Present tense and Present Indefinite Tense are similar. The only difference is Simple Present tense tells us about actions that are happening now and resent Indefinite Tense are for actions that happen on a routine basis. For example

Simple Present tense: I eat a cake.
Present Indefinite Tense : The Sun rises in the east.
