What is the difference between: scarcely... when, hardly... when and no sooner..... than. Conjunctions

Solution
The conjunctions scarcely...when, hardly...when, and no sooner...than are interchangeable. They are used often with past perfect tense to talk about two events that happened one after the other. 

For eg- No sooner had I entered my room than my mother called me out. / I had no sooner entered my room than my mother called me out.

Scarcely had I finished my work when the teacher assigned more of it. / I had scarcely finished my work when the teacher assigned me more of it.

Hardly had I closed my eyes when the bang was heard. / I had hardly closed my eyes when the bang was heard.
