what is the difference between  The p ith-ball electroscope and the gold-leaf electroscope?

Both are used to test the presence of charge on the body. The difference lies in their construction. Pith ball Electroscope uses a charged pith ball where as a gold leaf electroscope uses uncharged gold leaves.
