What is the other name of blue green algae ? Is it cynobacteria? If yes then may i know whether it is a bacteria of an algae? But if no then what is its oher name.

The other name of blue green algae is cyanobacteria. Their cell structures and compositions are same as prokaryotic gram negative bacterial cells. For this reason they are considered as bacteria. At the same time as they are aquatic and photosynthetic, they are called blue green algae. Only the presence of chloroplast inside their cells relates them to algae, else all other characters resemble bacteria only.

Yes but there is a spelling error.Blue green algae is also known as Cyanobacteria or Cyanophyta. There is no such thing like a Bacteria of an algae but it is a phylum of bacteria that obtain their energy through photosynthesis.(so as to what Phylum is it is a rank below the kingdom and above class as seen in the diagram)
