What kind of matter is powder?

Dear Student,
A powder is a dry bulk solid which is composed of a large number of particles. A powder can flow freely when it is shaken.
It is a special sub-class of granular materials.
In short, the matter is having fine particle called powder.
e.g.    sand, tonner, dust, snow
