while drawing a line on a paper,friction force acts on paper in the same direction along which line was drawn on the paper.

It says in the answer key that it is true.pls explain how

The friction on the pencil will be in the direction opposite to the direction in which the line is being drawn, but the paper relatively moves in the direction opposite to the motion of the pencil. So the direction of friction on paper will be in the opposite direction of motion of paper ,i.e., in the direction of motion of the pencil or in the direction in which the line is being drawn.
