why are the chances of CONCEPTION almost ZERO during LACTATION PERIOD ????

Lactation suppresses ovulation causing the chances to conception to be near about zero.

During lactation period menstrual cycle does not occur for about six months followed by parturition, as a result no ovulation which means no formation and release of ova/egg. Hence the chances of conception is almost zero during lactation period.
