WHY DAYS ARE ARE LONGER IN SUMMER THAN IN WINTERS

This is due to the rotation and the slight tilt in the earth's axis. You might be knowing that the rotation and tilt in the earth's axis are the reason behind the change in seasons. The region tilted towards the sun experiences summers while the region of the earth tilted away experiences winter. The region oriented towards the sun experiences an early sunrise and longer days while the region oriented away from the sun experiences late sun rise and shorter days.
