Why here hydrogen get the last priority??
Dear student,
Priority is decided by the following factors-
1) More the atomic number higher is the priority.
In the first example, the highest atomic number is bromine (atomic number = 35), the second-highest is chlorine (atomic number =17) and the third-highest is sulphur (atomic number =16) and the least atomic number is hydrogen (atomic number 1).
