Why parallelogram has no line of symmetry?...it's possible to cut it into two equal parts

Dear Student,

There is no line of symmetry in parallelogram.

Line of symmetry means a line which divides the the figure in two parts so that they can overlap each other.

But in parallelogram there is no such line thus it is not possible to overlap one side of the parallelogram over the other side.

So, why is It so
See given below image to understand the question

Parallelogram do not have any line of symmetry because of it rotational shape where all side all equal but not a line dinner same way so parallelogram has no lines of symmetry

Parallelogram do not have any line of symmetry because of it rotational shape where all side all equal but not a line dinner same way so parallelogram has no lines of symmetry and in your given image one line that is acting as a diagonal is a cutting the both but it will not covered both the sides equally as it has a rotational shape that's why it's all sides are not aligned in a same way
