Lower homologue = C2H2 (Ethyne)
Higher homolgue = C4H6 (Butyne)

3) C4H9OH is an alcohol. It is Butanol.
Lower homolgue = C3H7OH (Propanol)
Higher homologue = C5H11OH (Pentanol)

4) CH3CHO is an aldehyde. It is ethanal.
Lower homolgue = HCHO (Methanal)
Higher homolgue = C2H5CHO (Propanal)
