Higher homolgue = C₄H₆ (Butyne)

3) C₄H₉OH is an alcohol. It is Butanol.
Lower homolgue = C₃H₇OH (Propanol)
Higher homologue = C₅H₁₁OH (Pentanol)

4) CH₃CHO is an aldehyde. It is ethanal.
Lower homolgue = HCHO (Methanal)
Higher homolgue = C₂H₅CHO (Propanal)
