Answer for yesterday's Brain Teaser
An army officer typed a top secret message for his subordinate, who was stationed at the border. Since the message was secret, he had to ensure its safety. For this, he put the message inside a box and put a lock on the box. He sent the box to his subordinate but retained the key. How did the subordinate read the message without using the officer’s key? Note: He did not break the box or get a duplicate key made.
He put another lock of his own on the box and sent it back to the officer. The officer removed his lock and sent it back to the subordinate. The subordinate now had the box and the key to the lock on it!
